Madeline and Jeff | Mildred B. Cooper Chapel + The Ballroom at I Street | Arkansas Wedding Photographer

There really are no words to describe this wedding.

As you can imagine, I’ve looked at each of these photos at least 10 times in the course of editing them. Still, I sit here blogging them and find myself crying. Maddy and Jeff’s wedding was so genuine and emotional. The love they share is so incredibly special. And the way their family and friends love them? It gets me every dang time. And it’s so apparent in every single photo we took.

Regina and Joel | First Church Springdale | Northwest Arkansas Wedding Photographer

I loved witnessing the love and community at their wedding. Everyone is so supportive of their relationship and so in love with both Regina and Joel. It’s really hard to put into words, but I could physically feel the Holy Spirit in that church, and it’s because Regina and Joel truly put God first in their relationship and in their lives.

Cozy Winter Wedding | The Mansion at the Orchard | Northwest Arkansas Wedding Photographer

This idea had been brewing in my mind for months. I love mixed metals (especially copper), deep and rich tones, and dogs - if we’d owned our pup Sarah when we got married, she totally would have been invited. To those of you who don’t know, my sister and her husband (and new baby!) live right outside of Washington, D.C. This is amazing for his career, but it also means that we don’t get to see them often. He is God’s gift to humanity. THOSE EYEBROWS. Is this how every aunt feels?

Madison and Kaelan | St. Catherine's at Bell Gable | Arkansas Wedding Photographer

To me, the greatest part about weddings is that no two are the same. Madison and Kaelan’s was especially unique to me. While all weddings are special and full of priceless intimate moments, I can’t say that I’ve ever photographed a wedding with this many of them before. I swear, the whole day somebody was chopping onions next to me.

Laramie and Crozier | Northwest Arkansas Engagement Photographer

I'm so glad she met Crozier. She'd just gotten out of a long term relationship and she was telling me about Crozier. I knew for a fact that he was a perfect match for her just by hearing what she had to say about him. She didn't want to jump into another relationship, so she asked Crozier if they could just be friends for six months. And because Crozier is awesome and knows Laramie is worth waiting for, he waited six months to ask her out.
