Cozy Winter Wedding | The Mansion at the Orchard | Northwest Arkansas Wedding Photographer

In January 2016, I married Nathan. It was a gorgeous wedding full of jewel tones and peacock feathers. I felt like a full-on princess. But if you know me, bright colors and extravagance aren’t really my things. While I wouldn’t go back and change anything about my wedding even if I had the chance, I really wanted to create a wedding that screamed “Claudia.”

This idea had been brewing in my mind for months. I love mixed metals (especially copper), deep and rich tones, and dogs - if we’d owned our pup Sarah when we got married, she totally would have been involved. I also love simplicity, where the decorations don’t overpower the couple’s connection. I haven’t really seen all of these put together in a styled shoot before. (But if you know of any, send me the links because #eyecandy)

We couldn’t have asked for more diverse and incredible weather. It seemed like it was just going to be cloudy all day, but the sun peaked out to grace us with unbelievably gorgeous shadows and light rays. It’s every photographers dream.

While the photos are out of this world, my favorite part was working with vendors I never have before. We gave everyone creative liberties so they could show off their talents, and hol-y-crap. They knocked it out of the park! Every last detail was so precise and you can definitely tell in the photos. They brought my dream wedding to life. I can without a doubt say that I recommend every vendor on this list for your wedding or event. Not only are they talented, but they’re personal and fun, which in my book is almost more important.

Please enjoy viewing my heart and soul, and let me know what part of the shoot is your favorite!
